Texas Sounds is a premier global music event proudly produced by East Texas Performing Arts, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and 509(a)(2) public charity dedicated to celebrating artistic excellence.
What began in 2012 as an ambitious vision in East Texas has exploded into one of the most electrifying country music competitions in the world. In its very first year, standout performers from eight nations traveled across the globe to compete, setting the stage for something truly extraordinary.
Today, Texas Sounds has become an international sensation, attracting elite country music talent from an incredible 44 nations—and counting.
Country music is a worldwide movement, and Texas stands at its heart, the birthplace of iconic styles like Western Swing, Boogie Woogie, Rockabilly, Red Dirt, and Outlaw Country. Texas Sounds proudly brings that rich heritage back home, while also spotlighting the next generation of groundbreaking artists pushing the genre forward.
